About Us
The "Almost Famous" Mama Jack's Roadhouse Cafe was founded by Barbara and Jerry Jackson in the early 1980's in the small town of Kountze, Tx.
After owning and operating for 40 years, the Jackson's have opened their kitchen to Jenny and Clay Holyfield. Following in their footsteps and upholding the family friendly hometown atmosphere, they have stepped in as the new owners of Mama Jack's in 2024. The Holyfield Family moved to Kountze from Mid-County in 2021. They have three children Caly Jo, Cade, and Cori Grace, and all their fur babies. They believe family traditions are important and enjoy connecting with customers and creating family like relationships and memories. They continue to uphold the restaurants core values and committing to their staff and community. We invite you to stop by and get a taste of our fresh homemade food!
